Edward Chow Lap San
Mr. Chow Lap San, Edward graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong and was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1990.
In recent years, Edward further obtained two Masters of Laws degrees from the University of Hong Kong, the first LLM on arbitration and dispute resolution and the second LLM on corporate financial law.
Edward actively practices in commercial law, company and land law in Hong Kong Courts and has been involved in arbitration as party representative and arbitrator.
Edward serves as Chairman of Appeal Tribunal (Building Ordinance), Member of Inland Revenue Board of Review, Member of Greater China Sub-committee of Hong Kong Bar Association and Honorary Secretary of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, East Asia Branch in 2015 and he is a current Committee Member. He is also the head of Century Chambers in Hong Kong.
Edward is a HKIAC List of Arbitrators and SIAC Panel of Arbitrator and an Accredited HKMAAL Mediator. He frequently acts as arbitrator in Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration in Shanghai and Hong Kong and acting as moot judge for the major law schools in Hong Kong.
Edward is also actively involved in legal education in both Mainland China, Macau and Hong Kong for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as a member of the Approved Faculty List.
He has published legal articles in Hong Kong Lawyers and articles in relation to arbitration in Chinese in Shanghai Lawyers.
